Does success have a price tag?

Does success have a price tag? Good question! The study of and the reach for success are fascinating.

Many books have been written about success. One of the best in my opinion, is The ABCs of Success by Bob Proctor. Bob has to be one of the finest communicators of motivation I’ve ever heard. Long before the fame he enjoyed from “The Secret”, Bob was a wildly successful business man and then an incredibly successful motivational speaker and writer.

In the chapter on Effort, Bob writes:

” Whatever you want to accomplish in this coming year has a price tag on it. You must give up something to get something. The greater the value, the greater the sacrifice required.

There is a high price to be paid for success, but you must realize that the rewards of true success are well worth the effort.

The highway to success is a toll road.”

What is your definition of success? Is it better health, a job you enjoy more, a happier family life, greater income? Whatever it is, be very clear with yourself what you truly want before you head to that toll booth, because you will pay a price.
