Does Success Have a Price Tag?
You bet it does!
Does success have a price tag? Good question! The study of and the reach for success are fascinating.
Many books have been written about it. One of the best, in my opinion, is The ABCs of Success by Bob Proctor. Bob Proctor had to be one of the finest communicators of motivation I have ever heard. Long before the fame he enjoyed from “The Secret”, Bob was a wildly successful businessman and then an incredibly successful motivational speaker and writer.
In the chapter on Effort, Bob wrote:
” Whatever you want to accomplish in this coming year has a price tag on it. You must give up something to get something. The greater the value, the greater the sacrifice required.
There is a high price to be paid for success, but you must realize that the rewards of true success are well worth the effort.
The highway to success is a toll road.”
What is your definition of success? Is it better health, a job you enjoy more, a happier family life, greater income? Whatever it is, be very clear with yourself what you truly want before you head to that toll booth, because you will pay a price.
How do you achieve that success? What will it take, and what are you willing to give up? Certainly, it will take some time…
